Ida Necklace Gold

The Ida Necklace in cross-brushed 18K Gold Vermeil carries a very symbolic axe which has always been a sacred symbol of protection for women throughout Greek mythology. The name Ida comes to us from two scared mountains, one is the Mountain of the Goddess, and the other Mount Ida in Crete. The blue rays from the sapphires that line the centre of the axe are a gemstone of wisdom, divine favour and are associated with all things sacred.
